Our Story

Gecko Gamer Gear is the brainchild of variety streamer, designer and all round nice person grippy_gecko. When grippy lost his father to cancer, he also lost the workspace he was using at his father’s house, where he was designing and making craft dyed clothing and textile based accessories for his Gecko Shibori Etsy store. Realising that he needed an alternative business model that he could run from his own home, the idea for a print on demand business selling sustainable apparel and accessories to gamers took shape. That way grippy could combine his love of gaming, and his desire to keep designing sustainable clothing with a unique style. Gecko Gamer Gear is the newest of the Gecko projects, incorporating original game inspired designs with eco-friendly and ethically produced high quality clothing and accessories aimed at the gaming community. Our Values

Planet Earth is on Hardcore mode. There are no respawns and no revives where the environment is concerned, so here at Gecko Gamer Gear we focus on sustainability in everything we do. Our clothing is made from organic cotton and sometimes recycled polyester (as little as possible because we prefer natural fibres to be honest), our non clothing items are crafted from long lasting and/or recycleable materials. We believe high quality durable items you will want to keep using level after level are better for the environment than vendor trash, so we focus on quality products. Our designs are hand made by organic human designers; they are made by gamers for gamers and show the passion for games that only a human being can understand.
